WTF IS THUNDER SNOW!?!?!?

It's snow storming here in Suffolk County today. I was just watching the weather channel to see how this would effect my New Years plans and the dude said exactly this - 

"Expect Thunder Snow in Suffolk today."

WHAT.

THE.

HELL.

IS.

THUNDER.

SNOW?

I have no idea what this means, but I drew a picture of what it might mean -

FLYING SQUIRREL MEN!

It's called a "Wingsuit", and I WANT ONE!

These dudes are absolute crazy people!  Apparently, the objective is to get as close to the mountain as you can while ripping through the air at 100 MPH.

TV THEME SONG OF THE WEEK #6 and #7

I guess with all of the holiday excitement, I must have forgotten to post #6 last week.... LAME! So here is a double dose of Television intro gold for you!

1. BAYWATCH - 2 minute montages set to sweet 80's rock with cheesy graphics, babes and David Hasselhoff are a surefire formula for television greatness -

2. DUCKTALES - Any show that has it's characters diving into pools of money and exploring space in the same intro is awesome in my book -

LONG ISLAND RAILROAD TICKET COLLECTOR OF THE YEAR!

My vote for The "Long Island Railroad Ticket Collector Of The Year" goes to this guy - 

his name is Joe, and he was actually nice (a lot of those dudes are so mean!)

and he has this badass hole puncher -

It's got teeth on it, so when he hole-punches your ticket, it looks like it's eating it.

Our friend Tiffany Seay did an awesome job decorating Alley Katz for our Richmond Virginia date on the Christmas tour, kids faces were melting from the extreme amounts of candy canned awesomeness! -

MY FAVORITE PATENT PENDING MERCH EVER!

My friend Anh, from Connecticut came down the show the other night rocking this sweet ass old school Patent Pending sweatshirt... no hood, no 3 color print... JUST ROCK! that thing is awesome! well done my friend. 

FUN FACT: We only made about 100 of these, and it was only because St. Patrick's church ordered them and then didn't need them. So Island Screen Print gave the extra shirts to us for free, we used the same logo that they already had set up (team spirit) and just added Patent Pending to the bottom of it.

MORE CREEPY NYC MASCOTS!

 You may remember that I had an encounter with some creepy and unlicensed NYC mascots earlier this year.

I went into the City last night, and THEY ARE MULTIPLYING! They are seriously on almost every corner in the touristy parts of the city. Any of you who live near, or visit NYC should be aware of the serious creep fest that is going on.

I stopped and took a picture with Bootleg Mickey Mouse

and after we took the picture... HE FOLLOWED ME SAYING, 

"1 DOLLAR, 1 DOLLAR SIR, 1 DOLLAR" Aside from giving children unlabeled candy and having incomplete costumes, this is easily one of the creepiest things I have ever seen Bootleg Mickey do. There is an understood law that any mascot, no matter how terrible and illegitimate it is, should never talk! it could scar a kid for life.

Here is a picture of me actually giving this hack a dollar. sorry it's blurry, but I didn't dare stand next to it any longer than I had to for fear of catching a case of the creeps.
