Congratulations to everyone who has been working so hard to get the status of same-sex marriage laws changed here in the state of New York. This step towards greater equality for everyone is a monumental day for all of us as a people. I think it's insane that we live in a society that is capable of all these amazing intellectual and technological advancements yet we are still denying our fellow men and women basic human rights because they are considered "different" or "wrong." Ignorance towards homo-sexual people is stupid. Now let's get the other 40 something states where gay marriage is still illegal to grow the fuck up and provide equality for all. #realtalk

You said it well, Joe!!! Marriage should be between 2 people who love each other, regardless of gender. If 2 men, 2 women or 1 man and 1 woman love each other, they deserve to get married! Love is love.
